Forthcoming Event

    Sunday 27th April - Adrian Boult Hall in the Birmingham Conservatoire the' Birmingham Bassoon choir will be performing with other groups : Raddlebarn Primary School Orchestra, The Camphill and South Birmingham Flute Choir, the Birmingham Flute Choir, and the Birmingham Schools' Wind Orchestra. The Concert will begin at 6.30pm. Tickets are available from the Central Library Box Office or online at
    www.birminghamboxoffice.com. at a cost of £5.00 and £3 for concessions.

    Saturday 3rd May - Federation of Master builders Charity event at the Burlington Hotel Birmingham

    Sunday 29th June - Colmore Summer Fare at Colmore Junior School, Kings Heath, Birmingham

    Sunday 13th and 14th September - Birmingham Artsfest weekend.

  • Bassoon Day - Sunday February 24th 2008 at King Edward's School-(Music school building ) Edgbaston Park Road, Birmingham B15 2UA.( 9.30 am - 5.30pm.)
  • "The Birmingham Bassoon Choir would like to thank everyone who attended the Bassoon Day on Sunday 24th February. We had an excellent and also a fun day, it was great to see so many enthusiastic players across all age groups playing an instrument apparently an 'endangered species' looking forward to seeing you again next year, please check out the website for further details.
    Special thanks also go to Mr. Tom Simmonds Sole U.K. distributor for Fox U.K. and also QSP Training Ltd, who had both sponsored the event. Thank you to Peter Moore and Sandra Downing from 'Dr. Downing Music' and Rachel Emerson - 'June Emerson Woodwind and Brass' for providing Trade stands at the event .
